The role involves moving materials, using tools like hammers and wrenches, screwing nails, and holding walls in place. Additionally, you will perform labor duties, clean the work site, and conduct basic data entry/documentation.Responsibilities
• Move materials around and clean up job sites • Use hand tools, hammers, and wrenches to construct walls for tests. • Screw in nails and hold walls in place. • Perform general labor duties as assigned. • Use tape measures and levels for precision. • Stand, lift, carry, and hold materials in place. • Clean the work site thoroughly. • Perform basic data entry and documentation, ensuring legibility. Essential Skills
• Experience with construction, tool usage, and labor. • Basic assembly or construction experience with hand tools. • Ability to use a computer for basic data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Carpentry or welding experience is beneficial. • Comfortable with working overtime when needed. • Ability to work outdoors if required. • Experience with commercial, hand tools, power tools, general labor, engineering, and maintenance technician. The dress code includes wearing steel toe boots, work pants or jeans, and shirts with sleeves as they might get dirty. You will work alongside a lead person and occasionally manage smaller tasks independently. The hours are from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed, averaging 40 hours most weeks.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of ELMENDORF, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
