Welder- Weekly Pay- Start ASAPPay: $23-$28/hourLocation: Tea, SDHours: Various Shifts Available This role involves fabricating and assembling bases and enclosures by following customer specifications and engineering drawings, using MIG and other welding processes. You will prepare materials, lay out and weld components, install specialized parts, and ensure all welds meet quality and precision standards in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
• Follow customer specifications and engineering drawings to lay out, assemble, and weld bases and enclosures. • Gather required materials, prepare workpieces, and organize tools and equipment prior to welding. • Set up welding equipment and weld parts together using MIG, gas welding, and various arc welding processes. • Install specialized parts and components on enclosures, including insulation, Z-bar, doors, hinges, brackets, and related hardware using cutting, welding, and grinding tools. • Install specialized parts and components on bases, including structural steel, flat and formed sheet metal, plate, lifts, and lugs. Essential Skills:
• Proficiency with MIG welding and familiarity with gas and arc welding processes. • Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measures, grinders, and related fabrication equipment. • Strong measurement skills, including accurate use of a tape measure and understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow detailed work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Previous welding experience, including basic metal welding; employer can provide additional training to build skills. • Experience operating a forklift is preferred. • Blueprint reading skills are helpful; training can be provided for candidates with strong aptitude. • Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. • Comfort working with cranes or other lifting equipment after appropriate training. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Tea, SD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $56160.00/yr.
