Job Title: Production WorkerJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging lines and machinery. You will work on dip or dressing lines, handle packaging lids, bowls, bottles, and finished goods, and inspect products to maintain quality standards. Your role will involve keeping the product flowing on the lines, checking labels, unjamming lines, assisting with changeovers, and monitoring packaging and filling lines. Responsibilities • Operate packaging lines and machinery efficiently. • Work on dip or dressing lines, handling packaging components. • Inspect products and ensure quality control. • Maintain product flow on the lines and check labels. • Assist with line changeovers and manage different product lines. • Monitor packaging and filling lines to ensure efficiency. • Lift boxes onto pallets and wrap pallets securely. • Utilize computer skills to verify and print orders using EPJS and RF Scanners. Essential Skills • 2-3 years of experience in packaging line operations. • 2+ years of manufacturing experience. • Strong ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Proficiency in inspections and general production tasks. • Experience with machine operation and material handling. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience in food or chemical industries is preferred. • Ability to wear steel-toed boots for safety. • General labor and load handling capabilities. • Strong computer skills for order verification and printing. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thornton, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
