The position combines hands-on electro-mechanical work with the ability to interpret technical documentation and apply machine design knowledge to real-world installations.Responsibilities
• Commission and test new equipment for clients to verify proper operation, safety, and performance against specifications. • Perform detailed troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues. • Interpret and work from CAD drawings, schematics, and blueprints to install, configure, and adjust equipment accurately. • Support the engineering process by applying machine design knowledge to optimize equipment setup and performance. • Document test results, findings, and corrective actions to ensure clear communication and traceability. • Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives to ensure successful equipment start-up and handover. • Conduct functional checks and calibration of components to ensure reliability and compliance with design requirements. Essential Skills
• Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in commissioning and testing equipment. • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, mechanical systems, and electro-mechanical assemblies. • Ability to interpret and work from CAD drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints. • Machine design knowledge and the ability to apply it in practical equipment setups and adjustments. • Solid understanding of electro-mechanical principles and their application in industrial equipment. • Attention to detail and accuracy when reading technical documentation and performing tests. • Experience working with complex machinery and automated equipment. • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to colleagues and clients. • Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing issues. • Comfort working both independently and as part of a project team. Work EnvironmentThe role involves working directly with new equipment in a hands-on engineering environment, including electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems. You will regularly use CAD drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and testing activities. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
