Job Title: Manufacturing Process EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new processes, as well as improving existing ones, to ensure optimal manufacturing operations. Responsibilities • Design and develop new manufacturing processes or improve existing ones. • Solve problems and enhance processes using structured problem-solving methods such as KT, Designed Experimentation, or Six Sigma. • Implement Process Control and Process Discipline systems into manufacturing operations. • Analyze process data using statistical tools like pareto analysis, regression, time charting, analysis of variance, and gauge R&R. • Measure and communicate performance against established objectives. • Review and interpret data to recommend immediate actions, long-term corrective actions, and follow-up experiments. • Document processes and train operators and peers on defined processes. Essential Skills • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials, or Ceramic Engineering. • 4-7 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly in commissioning new equipment. • Strong problem-solving mentality and focus on process improvement and continuous improvement. • Proficiency in process control and Six Sigma methodologies. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with equipment installations or commissioning of equipment. • Effective presentation skills. • Capability to lead small process development or improvement projects. • Innovation experience. • Process Excellence (Six Sigma) Green Belt or higher certification. Work EnvironmentThe role requires onsite work from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some travel to the Noblesville location in the first year. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
