• Support the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects • Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses • Prepare engineering reports, technical documents, and project deliverables • Develop and review construction drawings and specifications • Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders • Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance activities • Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction support activities • Collaborate with Project Managers and senior engineers throughout project execution • Provide guidance and support to developing engineers and project team members What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering • Engineer Intern (EI) certification (FE Exam Passed) • 3-5 years of professional engineering experience with water and wastewater infrastructure projects • Experience supporting the design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications
• Eligible to sit for the PE exam within the next year • Actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure • Experience with water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, utility infrastructure, or related municipal projects • Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies • Ability to support and mentor developing engineers Career Development & Benefits

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
