Our Architecture Department is expanding, and we are seeking a passionate individual to join our collaborative team. Responsibilities • Report to the Project Manager overseeing the assigned project. • Support architectural design and project development through CAD, code research, product research, cost estimating, and the application of various programs and technologies. • Engage in client interaction for reviewing design and planning concepts. • Prepare design development and construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications. • Participate in construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI processing, and job site observation. • Communicate externally via phone calls or email, and prepare correspondence as needed for various projects. • Collaborate with consultants and manufacturers. • Create 2-D and 3-D color renderings of design concepts. Essential Skills • Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Associate in Architectural Engineering. • 1-5 years of professional experience. • Proficiency in current versions of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. • Experience in industrial, commercial, or municipal projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Working towards a Master's degree in Architecture is preferred. • Knowledge of Revit and Adobe Design Suite is a plus. • Working towards licensure in the State of Michigan is advantageous. • Experience with public sector, industrial, and commercial projects is preferred. • Residential exposure is a nice-to-have, although not currently in our scope of work. • Three-part specifications experience. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
