Tritium Project Subject Matter Expert

Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:: Candidate shall provide Program Management, Project Management and Business Planning, and Integration leadership to advance the Tritium mission.
Duties require building collaborative relationships to execute strategic initiatives and meet various Weapons Activity program deliverables. This scope requires working with NNSA HQ Federal Program Managers, Tritium leadership, Tritium program managers, cost center managers, and BSRA for support as needed.
Duties require an experienced working knowledge of DOE Project and NNSA Program Management Policies and Directives and application to NNSA Facilities, particularly Tritium.
Duties require preparing Business Plans for various Weapons Activities tritium initiatives using Tritium Program Management experience. Develop work authorization and multi-fiscal year baselines, including scopes taking earned value in support of NNSA Programs and documenting the process.
Develop and implement management systems and tools for managing mission-driven staffing and document process.
Provide NNSA Program management knowledge transfer and mentoring to next generation of SRTE Program Managers.
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least fifteen years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least twelve years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE) • Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
We'd Also Like to See: • Candidate must have ability to develop NNSA programs, budgets, and manpower requirements to support related strategies and initiatives • Candidate shall demonstrate experience managing U.S. and International NNSA related projects and programs and have a unique knowledge of the Weapons Activities Tritium Programs • Candidate shall demonstrate experience with the NNSA Federal Budget Process and DOE/NNSA Capital Acquisition process with emphasis and familiarity with DOE and NNSA Policies and Directives
Security Clearance Information: SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
