Landscape Gardener
Auckland | minimum 40 hours per week | Permanent

At Humphreys Landscaping Ltd, we design, create, and maintain some of Auckland’s most exclusive residential gardens, and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener to join our Projects, Maintenance and/or Lawns Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a team, and wants to grow their career in horticulture.
What You’ll Do
• Maintain and construct gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas, including planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, and fertilising
• Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles safely and effectively
• Assist with soft and hard landscaping, including paving, timber work, and garden structures
• Monitor and care for plant health, identifying pests, diseases, and weeds
• Work closely with Team Leaders, Foremen, and Account Managers to meet client expectations
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment and develop your skills through on-the-job learning
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in gardening, landscaping, or lawn care
• A qualification in horticulture, or working towards one (preferable but not essential)
• Strong plant knowledge and a love for the outdoors
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude, good communication skills, and reliable work ethic
• Physical fitness for an active outdoor role
• Knowledge of lawn care, fertilisation, and pest & disease control is a plus
