Where you come in
We're looking for an exceptional Telesales Agent to join our Strategy & Operations team.
In this role, you'll engage customers through outbound calls and other channels to drive customer engagement, generate orders, and support growth initiatives. You'll work closely with the Data and Operations teams to execute campaigns, understand customer needs, and deliver measurable outcomes.
This is a fast-paced, target-driven role suited to someone who is confident communicating with customers, commercially minded, and motivated by measurable results.
This is an in-person role. You will be required to work from our Ikoyi office on a full-time basis.
In this role, you'll be required to:
• Make outbound calls to assigned customer segments and campaigns.
• Engage customers to drive orders, product adoption, and overall customer growth.
• Communicate relevant promotions and offers while handling objections effectively.
• Follow up with customers and maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes.
• Meet daily and weekly call volume and conversion targets.
• Share customer insights and performance updates with Growth, Marketing, Data, and Operations teams.
You're perfect for this role if you have:
• A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• A results-oriented and commercially minded approach.
• Comfort working with targets and performance KPIs.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
We'll be extra impressed if you:
• Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in telesales, sales, customer service, or a similar role.
• Have experience using CRM or customer engagement tools.
• Have prior exposure to startup environments.
