Main duties of the job This Regional Support Manager role at Avery Healthcare involves supporting the Regional Director in overseeing a group of care homes to ensure excellent operations and performance. Key responsibilities include maintaining compliance and standards, standing in for General Managers when needed, identifying challenges, and recommending solutions in collaboration with the Regional Director. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in Care Home management, ideally a clinical background or strong clinical knowledge, experience in regional support for homes, strong staff supervision and development skills, and hold NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Care for Care Homes.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Regional Support Manager, youll play a key role in supporting the Regional Director to oversee a group of care homes, ensuring they achieve performance targets and operate with excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing focus and support in key homes to maintain compliance, uphold standards, and deliver outstanding service
Standing in for General Managers during periods of absence, ensuring continuity, stability, and strong leadership within the home
Identifying challenges and recommending effective solutions in partnership with the Regional Director
Interpreting quality and performance data and advising on actions to drive continuous improvement

Have proven experience in Care Home management roles
Ideally have a clinical background or strong clinical knowledge

Qualifications Essential
Proven experience in Care Home management roles, clinical background or strong clinical knowledge, experience supporting homes at a regional level, strong staff supervision and development skills, NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Care for Care Homes.
