Job summary
Roselawn Surgery is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who will be a team player with a passion to deliver care and help support the patients in our surgery, with a friendly and positive approach.
We are looking for the candidate to be able to take on reception and administrative roles covering x5 5hour shifts from Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime.
Main duties of the job
The position requires directing and booking patients towards appropriate healthcare professionals, scanning clinical documents, monitoring patient communication via emails, letters, navigating triage systems, other admin duties and to provide general assistance to the Practice team including covering sick days and holidays. You will be given full training and development opportunities.

General Reception Duties
Greet and assist patients that come to the surgery.Answering appointment line, general enquiries and triage incoming calls.Sorting and distributing incoming mail via post and email.Scanning and filing patient documents on to their records.Processing prescription requestsEntering patient data on medical systemMonitoring and actioning triage requests which come in electronicallyFiling paper documents and keeping stock up to date.Keep updated on Protocol and Policies of the surgery.Work as a team to cover holidays, illness, training days
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Confident with IT and quick learner. Experience in Customer Service or face to face reception work. Excellent Team Player, good initiative and dedicated to role. Good attention to detail.
Desirable
Experience within a GP practice is preferable but not necessary.
