We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join the Health in Justice service at Practice Plus Group.

You will work across the North directorate which covers our prisons across Yorkshire and the North West.

This role is home based, with travel to sites as required. There is also an expectation that you travel to London or Theale for meetings occasionally.

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic HR leadership role supporting senior operational leaders. You will be responsible for aligning people strategy with business goals to improve organisational performance, workforce capability, employee engagement, and culture.

Salary & Hours

This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week.

You will receive an annual salary of £70,000 to £75,000 per annum with £4,000 car allowance and discretionary 10% performance bonus.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior HR Business Partner your responsibilities will vary. You will:

Partner with Operations Directors and Managers to develop and deliver people strategies. Support the delivery of the organisation's People Plan. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing business decisions. Use workforce data and analytics to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Ensure workforce implications are considered during business planning. Coach and develop leaders to improve management capability. Support succession planning and talent management. Lead workforce planning to meet current and future staffing needs. Support organisational design and restructuring. Identify leadership capability gaps and implement development initiatives. Lead culture change programmes and organisational development projects. Provide expert advice on complex employee relations cases. Support disciplinary, grievance, capability and organisational change matters. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies. Minimise organisational risk through legally compliant HR advice. Support restructures, TUPE transfers and service redesign. Manage stakeholder engagement and communications during change programmes. Identify and mitigate people-related risks. Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention. Promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Analyse engagement survey results and implement improvement plans.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

CIPD Level 7 qualification. Extensive experience as a HR Business Partner. Experience within healthcare, NHS, public sector, or another regulated environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of employment law and TUPE regulations. Significant experience leading change management programmes. Proven background handling complex employee relations issues. Experience influencing and challenging senior leaders. Willingness to travel regionally and nationally when required. #LI-KD1
