Main duties of the job The General Practitioner position at Operose Health requires delivering high-quality clinical care at the CGH Partnership. The role involves supporting surgery's operational plans, maintaining quality standards through clinical governance, and improving health outcomes. The practitioner will provide clinical care in line with the total triage model, engaging in consultations in person and via video, and conduct telephone triage, medication reviews, results interpretation, prescription signing, clinical administration, home visits, and surgery meetings. A strong focus is placed on upholding professional standards as outlined by the GMC, with patient care as the priority. Collaboration with the Practice Manager and clinical lead is essential in reviewing the surgery action plan, managing patient satisfaction, list growth, and cost management. Preferred candidates should hold current GMC registration and NHS Performers List, have GP accreditation, and understand QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs, possibly with knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

To provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model. This will include consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinical administration,safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours). To adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority. Working with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work. An experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience. Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services. Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and use of appropriate coding. Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb. Package Description: How well support you:
Annual salary of up to £112,500 depending on experience and £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs. Full indemnity cover. Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata.
