We are looking for a Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly physiotherapyteam at Cumberland Infirmary. You will support the delivery of inpatient rehabilitation programmes and assist with the running of group rehabilitation sessions
Working closely with Physiotherapists and the wider MDT, you will deliver delegated treatment programmes, support patient exercises, and contribute to high-quality, person-centred care.

Main duties of the job
The Physiotherapy Assistant will support the Physiotherapy Team in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients within inpatient rehabilitation wards and group rehabilitation programmes at Cumberland Infirmary. Working under the direction of registered Physiotherapists, the post holder will implement delegated treatment programmes, assist patients with mobility and exercise activities, support the delivery of rehabilitation groups, monitor and record patient progress, and contribute to promoting patient independence and recovery. The role also includes assisting with equipment provision, maintaining clinical areas, completing administrative tasks, and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
