A Snapshot The Treasury (Kyriba) Business Analyst is responsible for partnering with Treasury stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyse processes, and design effective solutions within the Kyriba platform. Reporting to the Service Owner – Finance, Treasury & Procurement, this role serves as the key link between Treasury users, implementation partners, and technology teams, ensuring business needs are translated into scalable and sustainable Kyriba solutions. The role focuses on business analysis, functional solution design, testing support, and continuous improvement across Treasury processes including Cash Management, Cash Forecasting, Bank Connectivity, Payments, FX Exposure Management, Debt Management, and Bank Account Management. Working closely with Treasury stakeholders and Kyriba consultants, the Treasury Business Analyst ensures solutions align with business objectives, operational requirements, and platform best practices. Your Day to Day Business Analysis & Requirements Management • Engage with Treasury stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process reviews to elicit and document business requirements. • Analyse current and future-state Treasury processes and identify opportunities for optimisation through Kyriba capabilities. • Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and user stories. • Ensure requirements are clearly documented, prioritised, and traceable through delivery. Solution Design & Functional Consulting • Translate Treasury business requirements into functional solution designs leveraging Kyriba best practices. • Collaborate with Kyriba consultants and delivery partners to ensure proposed solutions meet business objectives. • Provide functional guidance across Cash Management, Cash Forecasting, Bank Connectivity, Payments, FX Exposure, Debt Management, and Bank Account Management. • Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations based on business value, scalability, and platform capability. • Support review and validation of solution designs, configurations, and functional specifications. Testing & Change Delivery • Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases to validate solution outcomes. • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. • Assist with defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution validation. • Support deployment planning and business readiness activities. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration • Act as a trusted advisor to Treasury stakeholders on Kyriba capabilities and Treasury process optimisation. • Collaborate with implementation partners, consultants, and technology teams throughout the solution lifecycle. • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams. Operational Support & Continuous Improvement • Provide functional support and guidance for Treasury-related Kyriba issues and enquiries. • Identify opportunities to improve Treasury processes, user experience, and platform utilisation. • Stay current with Kyriba product capabilities and Treasury best practices. Documentation & Knowledge Management • Create and maintain business process documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, and solution artefacts. • Document business rules, process flows, and configuration impacts. • Contribute to the knowledge base and support user enablement through clear documentation. Requirements
• Essential: • Minimum 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role supporting Treasury functions and processes. • Demonstrated experience working with Kyriba in a functional business analysis or solution design capacity. • Strong knowledge of Cash Management, Cash Forecasting, Bank Connectivity, Payments, FX Exposure Management, Debt Management, and Bank Account Management. • Proven ability to gather, analyse, and document complex business requirements. • Experience translating business requirements into functional solution designs. • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and solution validation. • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • Experience working with third-party implementation partners and consultants.
Desirable: • Experience supporting Treasury transformation or technology implementation programs. • Understanding of Treasury controls, governance, and risk management practices. • Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or traditional project delivery environments. • Experience working within multinational or APAC-based organisations. • Knowledge of Treasury industry trends and leading practices. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related discipline. • Minimum 7 years' experience in Business Analysis, Treasury Systems, or Treasury Technology roles. • Demonstrated hands-on Kyriba experience (mandatory). • Treasury domain experience (mandatory). • Global or APAC experience highly regarded.
