About Us North Tyneside Recovery Partnership (NTRP) is a dedicated service for anyone in North Tyneside, who is experiencing problems with drugs and/or alcohol. The service does not have any age restrictions so can provide support to those of all ages.
We are here to help you get well and stay well. We believe recovery from addiction and substance misuse is possible for everyone, and we’re here to help you achieve it.
Our aim is to make recovery a reality in North Tyneside – whether you’re dealing with problematic drug and/or alcohol use or helping support others that are. Are you looking for a volunteer role where you can share your knowledge of recovery to help others?
Tasks may include:
• Checking in with Group facilitator before group, and reviewing content & materials to be delivered during the session. • Co-facilitating & supporting recovery groups • Offering peer support to clients (supporting home visits & assessments) • Supporting clients in their recovery journey • Raising awareness of the service and other support services • Complete all mandatory training in a timely manner (computer based) • Attend supervision 121’s every 8-12 weeks
