About the Opportunity: The Facilities Management Department has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic reporting to the Building Services Supervisor. The department is seeking a dependable, motivated, and coachable individual to join the Maintenance Mechanic team. Based in Richmond, this role focuses on supporting facility upkeep by performing light maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance services. What You Will Do:
• Performs moderately complex troubleshooting and repairs of a non-routine nature to a variety of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic components. • Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. • Conduct scheduled inspections for service and preventive maintenance on non-complex safety and operational equipment and fixtures • Performs routine troubleshooting and repairs to non-complex accessories and fixture throughout the facility • Transportation of confidential documents for shredding • Snow/Ice removal and inclement weather clean up • Assigned tasks and duties are performed in compliance with OSHA safety regulations • Use work order system to retrieve tasks and record time after the assignment completion
Qualifications:
• Senior Maintenance Mechanic: 5+ years of relevant experience • Intermediate Maintenance Mechanic: 3+ years of relevant experience • Experience operating pressure-washing equipment • High school diploma or GED • Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office

Senior level: $56,200 to $77,220. • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
