About the team In Transaction Services, we support a broad range of clients including private equity firms, investment funds and corporate clients through mergers, acquisitions and disposals. Advising throughout the lifecycle of the deal, we work on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, where our people develop specialist sector understanding and build key skills in financial due diligence. We have an excellent reputation of bringing deep industry expertise and actionable insights through analysis and deals experience.
About the role This is an exciting opportunity for you to join as a Senior Associate, where you will be given the opportunity to get to grips with the processes of due diligence, including using the latest data tools available (e.g. Alteryx) to perform sophisticated financial analysis of business information, as well as applying wider deals execution know-how.
• Gain hands-on experience in financial due diligence, using advanced data analytics tools such as Alteryx to perform sophisticated analysis of business and financial information. • Develop a strong understanding of deals execution processes, applying technical expertise to support transactions and deliver high-quality client outcomes. • Build your data and Value Creation mindset while enhancing your ability to communicate complex due diligence findings through innovative, cloud-based reporting platforms. • Strengthen your presentation and stakeholder management skills by delivering insights and engaging with colleagues, clients, and senior stakeholders across a range of projects.
Essential Skills and experience
• Must possess an ACA Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
• Industry experience in any of the following: Energy, Utilities, Mining and Infrastructure; Healthcare and Pharma; Industrial Manufacturing and Services; Retail, Consumer and Leisure; Real Estate; or Technology, Media and Telecommunications
• Wide range of client experience and a passion for client collaboration
• Experience of writing reports
• Good Excel skills essential, with experience using Alteryx, PowerBI and other data analytics and visualisation tools being beneficial
