Description: Duties: Provide laboratory information based on the performance of analytical tests on human body substances; correlate and interpret test data to detect evidence of or prevent disease or impairment and to promote and monitor good health; monitor quality assurance and maintain laboratory instrumentation including all documentation; follow established guidelines and protocols to provide requested clinical information to physicians, nurses, and other relevant health care personnel; and perform phlebotomy duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology; 1 year experience in a clinical laboratory in the same or similar discipline; Clinical laboratory scientist certification through CGFNS; and medical laboratory scientist certification by one of the following: ASCP, AMT, NCA, or AAB.
