Job Profile
• Be familiar with Quality policies and take an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Quality Management System.
• Maintain quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seek areas for improvement.
• In conjunction with the Geozone Quality team, implement a quality program and systems to ensure continual improvement and conformity of products and services to internal and external client and industry quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality function and product lines to maintain, communicate, and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) across Asia Geozone operating locations.
• Lead the quality incident and nonconformance response process for the Asia Geozone, ensuring timely containment, structured root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) with verification of effectiveness.
• Use data and RCA to isolate systemic failure modes and prioritize the highest-impact improvement levers.
• Define and maintain quality KPIs with common definitions across product lines and partners.
• Monitor Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and process/procedure adherence, identifying under-performance and driving systemic corrective action.
• Own and coordinate internal quality and management-system audit activity across the Geozone, and ensure readiness for external, customer, and certification audits (e.g., API / ISO).
• Ensure audit findings are risk-based, assigned, tracked, and closed with verified effectiveness.
• Lead the quality incident and nonconformance response process for the Asia Geozone, ensuring timely containment, structured root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) with verification of effectiveness.
• Use data and RCA to isolate systemic failure modes and prioritize the highest-impact improvement levers.
• Define and maintain quality KPIs with common definitions across product lines and partners.
• Monitor Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and process/procedure adherence, identifying under-performance and driving systemic corrective action.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams for partner engagement and quality performance improvement.
• Conduct supplier audits for new partners or for material and recurring performance issues.
• Lead Asia Geozone service quality and performance reviews focused on learning, simplification, and improvement.
• Ensure metrics drive end-to-end outcomes rather than local optimization.
• Monitor Geozone product line NPT and delivery KPIs, working with Quality and product line management to improve targeted KPIs.
• Serves and maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal — including Quality, Geozone Product Lines (GZ PL), and Global Product Lines (GPL) and, where appropriate, external.
• As requested by the Geozone Quality Manager and product line, it supports client visits and constant communication to demonstrate our commitment and promote the Weatherford Quality and HSE process.
• Regularly and clearly communicates the status of annual objectives, challenges faced in meeting them, issues identified that would impact objectives, and quality concerns observed that require further elevation.
• Previous product line quality experience or quality leadership roles, ideally within Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects or field operations.
• Strong background in project / operations execution environments; preferably Integrated Services, EPC / EPCI, or multi-discipline operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work across product lines with distinct technical ownership and third-party partners.
• Experience operating effectively within matrix organizations and distributed delivery models, ideally across the Asia region.
Preferred
• Experience in Systems Engineering, Process Improvement, Quality, or HSE roles.
• Exposure to delivery assurance, operational excellence, or systems integration roles.
• Lean / continuous improvement experience (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) in execution environments.
