Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations through inbound receiving, outbound shipment handling, inventory management, and material movement activities. This role ensures materials are received, stored, handled, and dispatched safely and accurately while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and operational requirements. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Receiving Inbound
• Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, verifying quantities against purchase orders and delivery documentation. • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. • Ensure proper documentation and recording of received materials. • Transfer materials to designated storage areas using approved handling equipment. • Identify, document, and report discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns. • Support incoming inspection activities by making materials available to the Quality team. • Complete system transactions, print labels, and allocate storage locations. Handling Outbound
• Accurately pick materials based on order requirements. • Pack outbound shipments for various business units. • Perform package marking, labeling, and stenciling activities. • Load shipments securely and safely onto transportation vehicles. • Support material segregation for internal and third-party inspections. • Ensure materials are stored in designated warehouse locations. • Take and share shipment photographs when requested. Other Responsibilities
• Support inter-business unit material transfers. • Support demo material movement activities. • Assist with warehouse housekeeping, cleanup, and reorganization initiatives. • Support special projects and additional warehouse tasks as assigned. • Conduct safety audits for warehouse racks and equipment. • Maintain compliance with Emerson Ethics and Trade Compliance requirements. • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization

For This Role, You Will Need
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or a college diploma/equivalent qualification. • 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or material handling functions. • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management processes. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Valid forklift operating license. • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
• Certification in Supply Chain Management or a related field. • Forklift Operation Certificate. • Experience optimizing warehouse workflows and improving operational efficiency. • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices within warehouse environments. • Previous experience operating forklifts in warehouse or logistics operations.
