Are you passionate about supporting people on their recovery journey?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Recovery Champion to join our team in Southend-on-Sea, working full time (35 hours per week). You’ll work closely with the STARS recovery community, BRIC Coordinator and wider Southend team to provide person-centred recovery support and help people achieve their goals.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, using both harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches to support people throughout their recovery journey.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage a small caseload of recovery support clientsProvide recovery advice, guidance and harm reduction supportComplete assessments, care plans and 1:1 interventionsFacilitate recovery support groups and Welcome PODsDeliver lived experience workshops and support service-user involvementDevelop links with local recovery communities and partner agenciesSupport clients to access services including housing, benefits, training and employmentWork collaboratively with services including Probation to provide joined-up support What we’re looking for:
