GPN Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Central London who are looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA studier to join a supportive and technically strong firm offering genuine responsibility, varied client exposure and clear progression opportunities.
The role will be approximately 70% accounts and 30% audit, with the successful candidate expected to work closely with seniors on asisgnments. The firm works with a diverse and interesting client portfolio across sectors including renewable energy, construction-related businesses, manufacturing, gaming, charities, professional services and waste management, with turnovers ranging up to £80m.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting on audits from planning through to completionCarrying out audit fieldwork both on-site and in the officeActing as a key point of contact for clients during assignmentsPreparing statutory accounts under FRS102Assisting in the supervision and support of junior team membersIdentifying audit risks and ensuring compliance with accounting and audit standardsBuilding strong client relationships and delivering a high level of service
Qualifications and Skills:
ACA or ACCA StudierStrong UK practice experienceGood understanding of UK accounting and audit standardsStrong communication and organisational skillsMotivated, professional and keen to progress within practice and a desire to work in audit
