About this role
Responsibilities: ILTs are a primary vehicle for shared decision making at the school level. The Instructional Leadership Team guides and facilitates the development and implementation of the School Improvement Plan, Cycle of Continuous Improvement, and Operational Plan. ILT Expectations and Vision:
• The goal of the Instructional Leadership team is to support school improvement by promoting strong, student-centered instructional practices in order to contribute to student success.
• ILT members embody the mission and values of Lawrence School. They are reflective of their own practices and takes steps to improve. ILT members model strong instructional practices and are a voice for positive change. They lead equity work and hold a positive, strengths-based view of students, families, colleagues and our school community.
• ILT members lead constituencies (grade level groups, or groups of teachers by role set) in implementing instructional improvement or school culture work as developed by the ILT.
• ILT members make instructional decisions based on data.
• ILT members must attend all ILT meetings. The meetings will be held on Thursdays from 7:40-8:25, twice a month.
• ILT members will lead at least one PLC throughout the school year.
Annual Stipend: 1,200.00 Number of Positions: 5 positions
