About this role
Extended substitute librarian position starting ASAP through an undertermined end date. The candidate will provide library/media instruction and supervision for K-5 students in the absence of the regular Library/Media Specialist. Follows lesson plans, schedules, and establised routines; facilitates read alouds, literature, library and media activities; assists students with selecting and using library resources; maintains a safe, organized and welcoming learning environment; reinforces schoolwide expectations; and supports basic library/media center operations and organization. Library Science K-12 PA certification is required. **As necessary, a separate email will be sent with a link and access code to comply with the Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure release forms.
