QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-07 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing accounting and budgeting systems; preparing accounting reports; assist with providing training; and maintaining records and reports. A strong analytical background with knowledge in excel, data analysis and dashboarding tools, ERP software applications and DoW budgeting processes, regulations and policies is preferred. To be successful, candidate must be able to proactive and able to work in a fast pace environment, able to learn and apply standardized processes, and look for ways to contribute to process improvement. Major DutiesYou will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the S-8 Comptroller OfficeYou will develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for assigned functions and contributes to the development of financial training programs and processes.You will perform financial data and root cause analysis to maintain financial reportability and controls.You will provide oversight, guidance and analysis on Defense Agency Initiative financial transactions related to budget authority, manage to payroll, etc.
