• 48 Hours College Credit OR Passing Score on Paraprofessional Test

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office or Google Suite

Job Goal: Assist the Internship Coordinator in supporting student success in the Wildcat Internship Program by maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication, and ensuring student engagement. Employment Terms: 9 Month Contract, 6.75 Hours per Day, Exclusive of Lunch FLSA Classification: Nonexempt Evaluation: Annually by Site Principal or Designated Administrator Physical Demands: This is an overview intended for compliance with the ADA – it is not an exhaustive list of the duties to be performed. • Regular Requirements: Sit for extended periods; twist at the neck and trunk; bend and reach at, below and above shoulder level; repetitive use of fingers and hands to grasp and/or operate equipment; lift/move up to 15 pounds

• Occasional Requirements: Walk, reach with hands and arms overhead; lift/move up to 25 pounds

• Visual Requirements: Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus

• Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contact students to schedule required meetings with the Internship Coordinator

• Track and follow up on student attendance at internship sites

• Maintain and update program databases, including student records and internship placements

• Assist the Internship Coordinator in coordinating student paperwork, forms, and communication with host businesses

• Support the creation of internship descriptions and orientation materials

• Help organize and support special events related to the internship program

• Communicate effectively with students, employers, and staff via phone, email, or in person

• Operate standard office equipment such as copier, computer, scanner, and phone systems

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling student and employer information

• Perform related duties as assigned by the Internship Coordinator or site administrator

• To ensure continuity of services, remote work may be necessary in the event of a health crisis or disruptive situation that requires the closing of school and/or office buildings. An employee's eligibility for remote work will be determined by the superintendent of schools. Expectations and guidelines for remote work will be distributed by the employee's supervisor, based on his/her role and responsibilities.
