About this role
MSAD 60 is looking for an Educational Technician who is fluent in Spanish and English to work at Hanson School in Lebanon Maine in a functional life skills classroom per Individualized Education Plans. The supervising teacher will create functional, behavioral, and academic plans for the Educational Technician to carry out throughout the day. Educational Technicians are expected to follow the designed plans as prescribed by the teacher. Life Skills and basic academic skills activities include, but are not limited to, supporting students in: Functional communication; Collaborative classroom tasks; Turn taking; Activities of daily living; (laundry, cooking, cleanliness, etc.) Reading Readiness skills; Math Readiness Skills; Basic keyboard skills, Expected Socially Acceptable Behavior; Making Connections. Candidates are required to have Educational Technician II or III certification and be fluent in Spanish and English.
