The Tiverton School Department is seeking dependable, experienced individuals to join our on-call seasonal snow removal team. Seasonal operators are responsible for clearing school parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and other district property using Tiverton School Department equipment. Position Summary Temporary, on-call seasonal employment (November-April) Non-benefited position Hours vary based on weather conditions and may include overnight, early morning, weekends, and holidays Compensation: Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience Essential Responsibilities Operate district-owned plow truck Plow and salt parking lots at school facilities Work safely in adverse weather conditions Respond to snow events with short notice as directed by the Facilities Department Qualifications Valid Rhode Island driver's license Experience operating snow removal machinery Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in winter conditions Reliable transportation and availability during snow events Successful completion of required background check and pre-employment requirements To Apply Submit an application through School Spring.
