Anticipated Dates - November 16, 2026- May 14, 2027 Reporting to the Assistant Principal of the Department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Teaches district-approved curriculum; prepares lesson plans accordingly. *Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated, *Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students. *Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. *Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.* *Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goals establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and the like to communicate these objectives to students. * Evaluates student's academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports. * Is available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Must be DESE certified in Math Five years of experience in a classroom setting preffered. Bachelor's degree preferred.
