Its general objective is to enable Luxembourg to establish and deploy services for its HDAB, at minimum:<ul><li>processing and management of data access applications,</li><li>supporting secure processing of health data by data users,</li><li>making sure that they are well integrated in the EHDS,</li><li>establishing and aligning with EU standards,</li><li>and providing cross-border connections for large-scale deployment of HealthData@EU based on the work conducted by the joint action TEHDaS.</li></ul> As an IT Infra Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company’s infrastructure. You will work closely with the technology team to deliver high-quality services to the HDAB's end users, including data applicants and data users seeking access to health data for secondary use. In addition, you will monitor and report on performance quality metrics and support internal and external stakeholders, including national partners and EHDS/HealthData@EU counterparts, in resolving issues. What you will do <ul><li>Help in the architecture, deployment, and improvement of cloud environments, as well as other IT infrastructures needed for the company to operate.</li><li>Collaborate across teams to transform business needs focused on public sector data secondary use into secure and relevant deployments.</li><li>Implement and ensure that the disaster recovery strategy is followed.</li><li>Evaluate and deploy new technologies and tools to keep the infrastructure relevant.</li><li>Assist to manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions in place.</li><li>Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking using different configuration management tools.</li><li>Implement effective monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues.</li><li>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, architectural diagrams, and compliance reports.</li></ul> Who you are <ul><li>Masters in a scientific, technological, or engineering discipline related to computer science, information technology, or computing.</li><li>2 to 5 years of relevant experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex infrastructure environments.</li><li>Must have knowledge of automation for the cloud (e.g., Terraform) and configuration of resources (e.g., Ansible, puppet).</li><li>Must have solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS), security best practices, and firewall configurations.</li><li>Must have strong knowledge of RHEL based operating systems.</li><li>Must have knowledge of virtualization solutions such as VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenStack.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.</li><li>Knowledge of Object-based storage solutions such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, ...</li><li>Working knowledge in cloud computing platforms such as GCP, Azure or AWS.</li><li>You have cultural intelligence and diversity consciousness.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English.</li><li>Working knowledge of one of Luxembourg’s official languages (French, German or Luxembourgish) is a plus.</li><li>Analytical thinker, adaptive, and comfortable in interdisciplinary teams.</li><li>Culturally aware, solution-oriented, autonomous, and quality-driven.</li></ul>
