QualificationsLOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level experience in that demonstrates the knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities); Experience planning and organizing work assignments; Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Major DutiesTHIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-9, is to function as the logistics manager of the organization and to serve as the organizational Property Book Officer (PBO) responsible for routine accomplishment and oversight of property accountability functions. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance. Required to perform at least 10% of supervisory duties.RequirementsCALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the California National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. (Applicants who are currently in other Air/Army branches and NOT currently a member of the California National Guard (CNG) must become a member of a compatible unit of assignment within the Army CNG commensurate with the military grade listed in this announcement prior to federal assignment). Military Grades: E-1 through E-9, or Enlisted Eligible, or W-1 through W-5, or Warrant Officer Candidate/Eligible, or O-1 through O-3 or Officer Candidate/Eligible Recruitment/Relocation Recruitment/Relocation Incentive IS NOT authorized. PCS Relocation Costs IS NOT authorized based on determination that Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is not in the Government best interest. Must maintain appropriate level of security clearance. May be required to successfully complete a one or two year trial period. Must wear appropriate military uniform including required grooming standards. Must maintain a compatible military unit, grade and job assignment as required by current directives. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Security Clearance: at a minimum a National Agency Check is required.
