Job Overview Plans production tasks and specifications, develop product, designs blueprint and process sheets, and establishes machining processes. Job Requirements Troubleshooting the processes, evaluating and maintaining the specifications by observing and performing measurements, and detecting the cause of the malfunctions. Planing the machining by studying the blueprints and process sheets, coaching others to perform production tasks, and making tool adjustments for manual and computerized shop equipment. Managing the stock inventory, placing and expediting purchase orders, analyzing the forecast to determine the needed stock, and verifying stock receipt. Providing inputs in the design and implementation plans, ensuring safe operations, compliance with the standard safety procedures, and monitoring the quality checks. What your background should look like Educational Degree Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Materials or equivalent experience. Professional Experience (years, processes and function) Three years or more of experience in plastic injection, semiconductor molding, and silicone molding or related fields. Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Horizontal Injection Molding and Liquid Injection Molding experience preferred. High knowledge of injection molding and effective problem-solving skills. Communication skills in English/French (oral & written). Computer skills (Word processing, Excel, PPT). Basic knowledge of programming languages (C, C++). Ability to work in a factory environment with exposure to polymers, solder fumes, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and heat-generating equipment. Ability to analyze and solve all defects related to Plastic Injection Molding. Advanced skills in Injection Molding Machines (SSD, ARBURG, FANUC, ENGEL).
