Interns work in teams and take a comprehensive approach to solving problems, learning the details of each project's mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Interns work directly with our project teams and may also interact with end customers. Responsibilities - Instrumentation and Electrical Design (20%) - Create instrument lists by examining piping and instrumentation diagrams - Compile submittal and procurement documentation for controls and instrument hardware - Provide technical support for panel fabrication technicians - Inspect completed control enclosures - System Design and Configuration (30%) - Participate in customer design review meetings - Assemble development system using project hardware and computers - Configure user interfaces and HMI screens - Configure various software, databases, IT equipment, Direct Digital Controllers (DDC), Programable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and/or Distributed Control Systems (DCS) - Draft system documentation from templates - Assist in developing and performing customer demonstrations and acceptance testing - Onsite System Startup (50%) - Install project software and configuration onto site systems - Perform instrumentation and...
