We are looking for a Patent Information Professional to join the Global Patent Team at Danone Nutricia Research in Utrecht. In this highly specialized role, you will provide critical patent intelligence and scientific insights that help protect and strengthen our innovation pipeline. As Patent Information Professional, you will serve as a trusted partner to Patent Attorneys and R&I stakeholders, delivering high-quality patent intelligence and strategic insights that support innovation and intellectual property decisions. Your responsibilities include: - Conducting advanced patent searches including patentability, novelty, freedom-to-operate, validity, and competitive intelligence searches. - Developing patent landscape analyses, technology watch activities, and strategic patent reports across food science, packaging, processing technologies, and related innovations. - Supporting patent opposition, validity assessments, and litigation-related information gathering. - Monitoring patent activities and emerging technology trends, providing timely alerts and actionable insights. - Managing and maintaining patent information databases and knowledge management systems. - Analyzing, interpreting, and communicating complex search results in a clear and business-relevant manner. - Collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Research & Innovation, Legal, and Intellectual Property teams.
