Bewaar Cost Controller Leiden | Project Cost Controller / QS (Mechanical) | Hybrid Note: Priority position - candidate must be able to mobilise August/September 2026. Purpose: Provides QS commercial management of mechanical and construction scopes, integrated with project cost control - producing timely, accurate cost and commercial information to support decision-making and delivery assurance. Key accountabilities - Remeasure mechanical scopes; evaluate interim valuations, variations, dayworks and final accounts with contractors. - Convert estimates into control budgets; maintain WBS/cost-code integrity in the cost management database. - Produce weekly/monthly cost reports - commitments, actuals, forecast, cash flow - with variance commentary. - Run the change program: trends, budget shifts, change orders and cost-impact assessments. - Maintain PO and invoice cost coding in SAP/Ariba with a clean audit trail. Experience & qualifications - 8-12+ years in QS commercial management and/or cost control on major capital projects; pharma strongly preferred. - Demonstrated contractor valuation, remeasurement, variation and final-account experience on mechanical scopes. - Advanced Excel; SAP/Ariba familiarity; Primavera Unifier advantageous.
