Bewaar Regional Financial Controller Rotterdam | Regional Financial Controller About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced Regional Financial Controller to lead the financial governance, reporting, and controllership agenda across a large and complex EMEA operation. This is a high-impact leadership role within an international organization, offering significant exposure to executive stakeholders and the opportunity to shape the future of finance through process optimization, systems enhancement, and transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee a broad and diverse regional footprint, partnering closely with business leaders and global finance teams to deliver accurate reporting, strong governance, operational insight, and sustainable financial controls. Key Responsibilities Financial leadership & governance - Lead the regional controllership function across multiple countries and legal entities throughout EMEA. - Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting in accordance with local and group requirements. - Own the month-end close, consolidation process, balance sheet integrity, cash flow reporting, and statutory compliance activities. - Drive a robust internal control environment, supporting governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Business partnership & strategic support - Act as a trusted finance advisor to senior leadership, providing insight into financial performance, working capital, cash flow, and business risks. - Partner closely with FP&A, Shared Services, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and operational leadership to support business decision-making. - Translate operational and commercial activities into meaningful financial outcomes and recommendations.
