The Computer Graphics and Visualization group at TU Delft has an opening for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Visual Analytics. We seek a researcher with an ambitious research agenda in visual analytics and interactive data exploration, spanning areas such as human-AI interaction, explainable AI, decision support, and data-driven discovery. Our group develops computational methods and theory for generating, analyzing, and interacting with visual data. Our research spans computer graphics, visualization, rendering, modeling, interaction, simulation, game technology, and immersive environments, with strong connections to artificial intelligence, data science, AR/VR, 3D computer vision, and high-performance computing. We foster a multidisciplinary research environment that combines fundamental advances with impactful applications across a wide range of domains. We particularly welcome candidates whose research advances visual analytics for the interactive exploration, analysis, and interpretation of complex data, including approaches that integrate human-centered artificial intelligence to support understanding and decision-making.
