We are looking for an Offshore Structure Engineer to join our team located in La Défense (92). Join a dynamic team: within our Technical Department, you will join a team specialized in reviewing the design of the structures of floating offshore units. Your role is to verify the technical compliance of your projects by performing verification calculations using our internal technical software and external software. Your main responsibilities: - Evaluate the structural design compliance of various types of offshore units, topsides, or associated equipment, in accordance with applicable regulations and in various contexts: new construction, modification/conversion of a ship or unit, validation of new technologies, etc. - Provide technical support to teams managing units in service for handling damage suffered by units classified by Bureau Veritas. - Contribute to the operation of our international network of plan approval offices by providing support and training. - Participate in the development and validation of our regulations and tools.
