Help modernize trains and make sure electrical systems are assembled safely, accurately and reliably as an Electrical Assembly Technician. Wie zoeken we? MBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in a technical field. An affinity with electrical engineering, technology or assembly. Experience in a technical environment is an advantage, but not a requirement. Experience with electrical work, for example in building services or utilities, is a plus. You are able to understand technical drawings and instructions, or are willing to learn. Practical experience with repairing, assembling or other technical work is a good basis for this position. Don't have experience as an assembly technician yet, but do have technical knowledge and experience with electrical work, assembly, or working on cars or motorcycles in your spare time? You work accurately, pay attention to detail and enjoy figuring out how things work. You take responsibility for your work, are comfortable following instructions and work well together with colleagues. You are also eager to learn and open to developing your technical skills. Salary between €3390 and €4398 gross per month. €0.25 per kilometre travel allowance, up to a maximum of 100 kilometres per day. 25 vacation days based on a full-time employment contract. Functieomschrijving As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will work in a technical workshop in Blerick, helping to convert and modernize trains. Your work will mainly focus on electrical assembly, such as installing cables and mounting electrical components. You will work accurately according to technical specifications and instructions. You will also regularly carry out mechanical tasks. You will work together with your colleagues to ensure that trains are delivered in good technical condition. Quality, safety and accuracy are important aspects of your work. Your responsibilities will include: Helping to modernize trains, mainly from an electrical perspective. Installing and connecting cables. Mounting and securing electrical components. Replacing and renewing safety systems. Working according to technical instructions and specifications. Checking at the start of the working day whether all required materials and components are available. Registering the parts and materials you use. Recording your working hours. Carrying out additional mechanical tasks when required.
