Below you find as aspirant au pair in a nutshell which steps you need to undertake to have a great quality family from our agency (print this in hard copy) Step 1 Requirements Immigration to be an au pair, first you need a recognised au pair agency, the age limit is not younger than 18 year not older than 26 years. You need to sign an agreement with a schedule between you and the host family, you did not pay money or deposit to a Dutch or foreign agency, only 34 euro is allowed for preparations to come to the Netherlands, You and the host family are not family members in the 1st, 2nd or 3 rd. degree, You have not had a residence permit for exchange purpose in the Netherlands before, You have not worked for the host family in the Netherlands or abroad before, You are allowed to work max 5 days a week no more than 8 hours a day with a maximum of 30 hours a week. You will have 2 days off a week. Only Light household chores are allowed and babysitting. You are not married or divorced and have no children (non-married certificate with apostille), you have your birth certificate ready. Au Pair Exclusive prefer candidates with experience and great love for children, you have a good education and speak English fluently and have an open character, love outdoor activities (not outgoing), honest, loyal, maybe you are in Europe already and have a valid visa, you can swim, ride a bike or "bakfiets", can drive a car.
