About the function As a construction cost estimator at Scheffer & Sminia Vastgoed B.V. in Beverwijk, you are the foundation of every construction project. You turn enquiries, specifications and designs into clear cost estimates. You will work on a wide range of projects, from renovation and maintenance to new builds and modular construction. You analyse specifications, drawings and project documents, prepare budgets and quotations, and consult with suppliers and colleagues. You actively think along about risks and optimisations and keep everything well organised. Together with project managers and fellow estimators, you will form a close-knit team that keeps each other sharp. Projects can sometimes be complex and require your accuracy and overview, especially when deadlines are approaching. There is plenty of room to develop yourself and take initiative.
