We are looking for a bright sector economist who will primarily cover the semiconductor value chain. This is a research job for someone who thrives in a setting that provides a lot of autonomy in how to shape the day-to-day tasks. Within ING Research we have a strong drive to share our expertise with clients, colleagues and journalists to help decisionmakers make better informed decisions. Besides being able to work independently and proactively, there will be ample opportunity to collaborate in projects across the department to create synergy between our sectors, macro and markets research teams. Our Global Sector Research team is part of ING's Global Research department. The team provides industry expertise to colleagues in both Wholesale Banking and Retail Banking, to clients and to journalists. We build views on a range of sectors including Technology, Media & Telecom and Automotive and work closely together with the other research teams in the department. At the end of the day, our purpose is to make economic, sectoral and market developments comprehensible and relevant for all our stakeholders.
