About this role
Within 2Connect's Semicon business line, you will be responsible for the technical and project-based guidance of customer requests, new product introductions and product changes. You assess drawings and specifications for manufacturability, monitor progress and ensure that all parties involved have the correct technical information in a timely manner. You will work on interconnection solutions for complex high-tech machines and systems. In doing so, you translate technical customer requirements into clear starting points for calculation, quotation and production. Among other things, you assess technical product documentation and acceptance sheets and think along about constructions, materials, quality and feasibility. This means that you form the technical link between the customer, account management, inside sales, engineering and 2Connect's international production locations. You do not have final commercial responsibility, but you are leading in terms of content on a technical level within projects. You will work simultaneously on various NPI projects, revisions and technical customer questions. Some questions require a quick assessment; Other projects you supervise for several months. You constantly determine what has priority and what action is needed to take a project further. You don't wait for information to come to you. When specifications are unclear or progress stagnates, you contact the customer or other stakeholders yourself to achieve clarity and decision-making. Occasionally, you will visit a customer or international production location together with an account or program manager.
