Organizing, supervising, and coordinating recreational activities and structured play programs. This role focuses on direct activity leadership, program delivery, and participant supervision within recreational environments. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate age-appropriate recreational activities and games while leading group activities and structured play sessions. This includes organizing seasonal programs and special events, as well as coordinating equipment setup and activity rotations to ensure effective program delivery. Supervision & Safety Management: The role involves supervising participants during recreational activities and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures. The Playgroup Leader will monitor playground equipment and facility conditions while maintaining participant safety as the primary focus during all activities. Activity Coordination: Responsibilities include setting up recreational equipment and materials for daily activities, coordinating group formations and activity transitions, and ensuring all participants can engage safely in planned recreational programs. The position requires hands-on involvement in all recreational activities. Requirements: - Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (Level 6 preferred for lead role) - Minimum 2 years' experience in an early years or playgroup setting - Experience planning and delivering play-based programmes for children aged 0–6 - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Completed Children First / Safeguarding training - Current Garda Vetting clearance
