About this role

Role purpose This role provides management reporting, business insights, regulatory reporting support and process improvement solutions for the Luxembourg AML/KYC, FATCA and CRS function. The Assistant Manager helps maintain a consolidated Luxembourg-wide view of risks across the client, investor and beneficial ownership population, supporting planning, performance monitoring, capacity management, local regulatory accountability and decision-making. Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders, the role identifies opportunities to automate repetitive processes, improve data quality, strengthen controls and enhance reporting efficiency. It supports the production of regulatory information required by the CSSF, the Luxembourg tax authorities (AED) and, increasingly, AMLA, with AMLA-related requests already being received and processed by the function. A significant portion of the information used by the role relates to highly confidential client, investor and beneficial ownership data. The role therefore requires direct Luxembourg access to the full data population, including clients and investors who have refused outsourcing arrangements or whose contractual confidentiality undertakings restrict data transfers outside Luxembourg, in addition to Luxembourg professional secrecy and GDPR requirements. The role sits at the intersection of AML/KYC operations, governance, data analytics, AI and automation, ensuring that transformation initiatives remain aligned with Luxembourg regulatory requirements, client expectations and operational realities. Its primary purpose is oversight, data consolidation, quality challenge, management intelligence, regulatory reporting support and automation, rather than operational processing. The role suits someone analytical and process-driven, who can turn complex data into clear business recommendations and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities (how we will measure success) • Timely and accurate delivery of management reporting, dashboards and KPI packs to agreed deadlines; • Reporting outputs that stakeholders actively use to monitor performance, capacity and workload; • Identifying and delivering process improvement and automation opportunities, including support for AI and automation initiatives; • Analysing performance, capacity and workload trends, and turning the findings into clear recommendations for management; • Documenting reporting processes, data sources and controls so that outputs are accurate, repeatable and auditable; • Maintaining a consolidated Luxembourg-wide view of AML/KYC, FATCA and CRS risks across the client, investor and beneficial ownership population and supporting the production of CSSF, AED and AMLA-related regulatory information; • Providing Luxembourg management with a 360-degree view of relevant AML/KYC, FATCA and CRS risks through consolidated reporting, data analytics, quality challenge and management information; • Challenging data gaps, inconsistencies and reporting issues at source, including through direct interaction with Luxembourg teams, clients, auditors, RCs, Conducting Officers and senior management; • Ensuring that AI, automation and data transformation initiatives remain embedded within the business, close to Luxembourg decision-makers and aligned with regulatory requirements, client expectations and operational realities;
