The Luxembourg Stock Exchange is looking for a: Accounting Supervisor Permanent contract (F/M) The Accounting Supervisor oversee the accounting team, review financial bookkeeping, ensure compliance with accounting law, prepare internal and external reports with the required level of quality and within the required timeline, manage month/year-end closing and external audit, prepare tax returns. Tasks/missions/responsibilities • Manage the accounting team • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations • Review month/year-end accounting entries and related supporting documents for control and reconciliation • Ensure compliance with internal processes • Review periodical internal reports • Review VAT returns, direct tax returns and other regulatory reporting (Statec, CSSF) • Prepare quarterly IFRS Reporting Education and experience • Master's degree in finance, minimum 5 years of work experience Technical competencies • Advanced MS Excel skills • Knowledge in Power BI is considered as an asset • Good knowledge in general accounting principles, especially LuxGAAP and IFRS • Good knowledge of fiscal law and applicable regulatory framework • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage L100) • Proficiency in payments' software (Multiline) Soft skills competencies • Accurate, detail-oriented, rigorous, and reliable • Good analytical and numerical skills • Well organized, flexible, able to prioritize and tackle multiple tasks, with attitude to teamwork • Capable to manage internal and external clients • Able to take ownership of assigned tasks and to propose solutions for improvements • Good communication and team management skills Language skills • Full professional proficiency in English and/or French, any other language is an asset.
