For an international manufacturing company in the Aalst region, we are looking for a technically skilled employee who will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and optimization of injection moulds. You will work in a two-shift system: Early shift: 06:00–14:00 Late shift: 14:00–22:00 As a Mould Maintenance Technician, you will ensure that all moulds are kept in optimal condition so that production can continue without interruptions. Your tasks: Carrying out preventive maintenance on injection moulds. Troubleshooting technical issues and carrying out corrective repairs. Changing, adjusting and replacing inserts during production. Repairing, modifying and improving existing moulds. Actively contributing ideas for technical improvements and optimizations. Performing small TIG welding jobs and carrying out turning and milling operations using conventional machines. Working closely with production and technical colleagues to minimize downtime. Working according to applicable safety, quality and environmental standards. Helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organized workplace. You have a strong technical background and enjoy getting hands-on. In addition, you have: A technical qualification in Mechanics, Mould Making or a similar field, or equivalent experience. Experience in the maintenance and repair of moulds is a strong advantage. Knowledge of injection moulds and how they operate. Experience with conventional turning and milling is an advantage. Basic knowledge of TIG welding is a plus. A valid overhead crane certificate, or the motivation to obtain one. Strong technical insight and an analytical approach. A strong focus on quality, safety and accuracy. The ability to work independently combined with a strong team spirit. Flexibility, a sense of responsibility and a hands-on mentality.
