About this role
In this role, you ensure that the packaging department operates smoothly from start to finish. Prepare and organize the daily packaging activities. Guide employees and distribute tasks across the team. Keep a close eye on product quality, hygiene and safety procedures. Follow up on packaging orders and coordinate priorities. Act quickly when technical or operational issues occur. Look for practical ways to improve efficiency on the production floor. Maintain clear communication with production planning and finished goods storage. Keep the Production Manager informed about progress and possible challenges. Help introduce and optimize the use of MES and ERP systems within the department. A first experience in production is preferred; experience in the food industry is a strong advantage. You are confident when guiding colleagues and making decisions on the work floor. A practical mindset and a flexible attitude come naturally to you. You work accurately and have an eye for quality and detail. Good English communication skills are required. You are comfortable using computer systems and willing to learn new software. Working in two shifts fits your availability.
